Sapna’s parents belong to a strict family of Punjabi background in Punjab India, later on, they moved to London in the mid-’20s. Her father was working as a chef in Airline Catering and her mother worked in a hotel. She went to Aston Business school and studied Public Policy Management and Sociology. While studying both her parents ensured that she knew about her culture and were very strict with making sure that she spoke the Punjabi language fluently. Hence she knows how to read, speak, and write fluent Punjabi language. While studying in university she took a small assignment of Asian Modelling to overcome her expenses, but she was not taking it so seriously to adopt it as a profession. Sapna is a renewed model, she was chosen as the face of fashion advisors Trinny and Susannah during his study at Aston University, Birmingham at the age of 22years. For the first time, she was offered the lead role in Prime Time Television shows, for an Indian TV channel, so she moved to Mumbai, India. She waited for it to begin but the project was delayed within a month. But she never gave up and joined an agency. She appeared in Sun silk ads Campaign. After that, she managed to bag one of the main roles in the Indian adaptation of the popular American television series,24.

In 2013 Sapna Pabbi played the role of Kiran Rathod in 24 Season 1 which was the first acting gig, again in 2016 she worked with the role of Kiran Jai Singh Rathod, daughter of Anil Kapoor in 24 seasons 2.
In 2013 she also appeared in Ghar Aaja Pardesi as Rudrani which was an Indian Television show that aired on Sahara One from “8 January 2013 to 7 June 2013, and which was produced by Gajendra Singh.
