Ananya Pandey was born on 30 October 1998 in Mumbai. She got her primary education from Dhirubhai Ambani International School Mumbai. Her father, Chunky Pandey, is a well-known comic actor in Bollywood who worked in more than eighty movies during his career, while her mother Bhavana Pandey is a Housewife.
Ananya Pandey is elder daughter of their parents and she has younger sister named Rysa Pandey. After completing her schooling, she went to the University of Southern California, Los Angeles for higher studies.
Currently she is pursuing her graduation. At the age of nineteen years she participated in a charity fashion even in Paris. Suhana khan (daughter of shah Rukh Khan) and Ananya Pandey are best friends and they spent their free times together, they were seen together in different parties and shopping malls.

Ananya made her Bollywood debut with the movie Student of the Year 2, starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria released in May 2019 under the banner of dharma productions. Ananya Pandey played a remarkable role in this film and showed her potential to the viewers although the film did not perform well on box office but her role in the film was much appreciated by the viewers.
Due to her worth praising performance in the movie she stepped further and she got selected for her next movie” Pati Patni Aur Who” with co- actor Kartik Aryan and Bhumi Pednekar which released on 6 December 2019.
In 2020 she came up with special appearance in song “Kudi Nu Nachne De” in Drama “Angrezi Medium”
